When we started breeding and raising Q.H.'s we really didn't realize what we had, but we knew the horses we were raising and riding were different from most of the Quarter Horses we have raised.
At that point we started to study bloodlines and began to realize we had a much larger percentage of foundation blood in our horses. So we are now raising all Foundation horses.
Our stallion is Dun Smart Tivio. You will find his picture and blood lines on the stallion page listed on side panel.

Christine Chapman is the trainer and partner in this operation.
She has soft hand for training. Does round pen work. Long lines. Also takes horses to woods for further training.
She has been training horses since she was a teenager. Has been training ours since this time. Has also trained out side horses during this period.

and possibly Barrels depending on each individual horse.
These foundation horses are just good all round working
horses. With blood lines to match.
The FQHR was built on these ideas. A working ranch,as so is
our ranch based on.

We have been raising Foundation horses since 1978.
We find the Foundation horses have great minds, easy to train. Have excellent conformation.
